Tell BP and Total to cancel their plans to drill near the Amazon Reef

Home to pink corals, sunset-coloured fish and over 60 species of sea sponge, the Amazon Reef is a thriving ecosystem that we’ve barely explored. But this natural wonder is already in danger.

Oil giant BP is planning to drill for oil close by, risking a spill that could not only devastate the corals and sponges of the reef, but have a huge impact on people and animals in the region.

Luckily, the Amazon Reef has a new champion - SpongeBob Squarepants.

As a lifelong coral reef resident and sea sponge, SpongeBob knows all about caring for our oceans. And with over 60 species of sponge living on the Amazon Reef, for him this is personal.
