Our food system is complicated - and it’s broken. It’s fuelling the climate crisis, nature destruction and human rights abuses across the world. But people are waking up to the injustices of this broken system and recognising the need to fix it.
Artist Fauziya Johnson has facilitated a series of workshops with people aged 16-25 to help reimagine a better food system for the planet and the natural world. The workshops include sustainable cooking, discussions on the violent history of the food system - and exploring what Danish Crown’s huge new bacon factory in the Rochdale, Greater Manchester area means for the local community and marginalised groups.
