Forests that are critical for Indigenous Peoples, biodiversity and our ability to mitigate climate change, are being turned into single-use products by Essity, the global tissue giant behind household brands like Tempo, Velvet, Edet and many others.

Essity is sourcing from logging companies, linked with ongoing violations of Indigenous Peoples’ rights and the destruction of critical areas of the Great Northern Forest that need urgent protection.  You can read more on our research into Essity and their supply chain here.

We have already handed over more than a quarter of a million signatures to Essity. But so far they are not showing any signs of change. Essity must feel that we will not give up until they act to protect the Great Northern Forest.
