As Greenpeace activists scale the walls of your London headquarters today, I find myself reflecting on my journey with your company. I've been a loyal Dove customer for years because I believed in your message of empowerment and self-love. Today, however, I feel deeply betrayed.

Your 20th anniversary 'Real Beauty' celebrations have been overshadowed by a stark reality: while you've been selling us 'Real Beauty', you've also been selling out our planet. The massive artwork unfurled on your building serves as a painful reminder of the billions of plastic sachets and bottles you've pumped into vulnerable communities over these two decades.

I trusted Dove. I recommended your products to my friends and family, believing I was supporting a brand that cared about women. Now I realise that the very communities you claim to champion are choking on your plastic waste. The rivers in the Philippines, the beaches in Indonesia, the air in India - all polluted by Dove's plastic legacy. This isn't empowerment; it's exploitation.

Your 'Real Beauty' campaign promised to redefine beauty standards. Instead, you've redefined corporate hypocrisy. How can you preach self-esteem while stripping away the environmental health of communities worldwide?

As you stare out at the Greenpeace activists today, know that they represent millions of disappointed customers like me. We demand real change, not more empty promises:

1. Stop selling sachets now.
2. Commit to phasing out all single-use plastics within 10 years.
3. Use your influence to advocate for these goals at the UN Global Plastics Treaty.

Until these changes are implemented, I'm joining the movement to #DitchDove. Your 20th anniversary should be a moment of reflection and transformation, not celebration.

Dove, you taught us that real beauty comes from within. It's time to show us the beauty of real corporate responsibility. The world is watching. What will your legacy be?
