The Labour government have recently confirmed their commitment to seek to ban some harmful bee killing pesticides - but they might still approve one of the most harmful and toxic ones for use early this year.
This pesticide is so bad that just a teaspoon of it could kill 1.25 billion bees. Without bees, we’d have fewer crops, fewer plants and our wildlife would struggle.
That’s why the EU has banned it, and why NGOs around the UK have called for a ban too. We need Labour to keep their promise and ban all these lethal pesticides for good - not approve them.
