Right now, world leaders are meeting at the UN Ocean Conference to decide the future of our oceans. But the UK is lagging behind.
In 2023, leaders agreed to an historic Global Ocean Treaty, which when put into effect, can help protect 30% of the world's oceans.
But for the Treaty to enter into force, at least sixty countries must sign it into law - and the UK should be one of them. The UK government has publicly committed to this, but they’re failing to deliver.
Will you email Keir Starmer now urging him to bring the Treaty to Parliament before the UN Ocean Conference ends at the end of the week?
