In 2023, world leaders agreed to an historic Global Ocean Treaty, when put into effect, will protect 30% of the world's oceans.
But for the Treaty to enter into force, at least sixty countries must sign it into law - and the UK should be one of them. But Foreign Secretary David Lammy is delaying the UK’s commitment.
That's why four Greenpeace activists climbed the entrance to the Foreign Office to send him a clear message: ‘Lammy don’t dally’ and ‘Global Ocean Treaty now!’
Will you email David Lammy now, and help amplify this message? Lucy Powell, leader of the Commons, will be CCd in as she has the power to start the process of making it law.
