KEIR STARMER: STOP FUELLING WAR CRIMES

The Israeli government has broken the ceasefire - hundreds have been killed and vital aid to Gaza has been blocked. Israel's retaliation for the horrific October 7th attacks has been catastrophic. Schools, hospitals and refugee camps have been bombed, and over 50,000 Palestinians have been killed - mostly women and children.

Amnesty, UNHR and others have called this a genocide. While Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is wanted for war crimes and crimes against humanity by the International Criminal Court - yet the UK and US governments continue to send Israel weapons. This is disgraceful and it needs to stop now.

The UK government has suspended a small number of arms licenses due to the clear risk of their use violating international law. The UK knows what’s happening is wrong - they must act now to help stop the killing.

Email Keir Starmer and demand that he ban all arms sales to Israel and call on the US government to do the same.

• Other European nations like France and Spain have suspended arms to Israel.
• UK Foreign Minister David Lammy and Health Secretary Wes Streeting recently raised concerns about the Israeli government's actions.
• Greenpeace calls for an end of the sale of weapons to all parties involved in the conflict and for the hostages from both sides to be released.
• Amnesty, Human Rights Watch and other organisations have accused the Israeli government of war crimes.
• Over 70% of Israelis want Netanyhu to resign - they want a ceasefire and hostages returned.
• The war in Gaza has led to a huge rise in emissions, greater than the annual carbon footprint of more than 20 of the world’s most climate-vulnerable nations. It has also caused unprecedented soil, water and air pollution in the region, devastating ecosystems and destroying sanitation systems.
