The Global Ocean Treaty has just been introduced to Parliament. 

Two years ago, world leaders including the UK, agreed to a historic Treaty: a once-in-a-generation chance to protect 30% of the world’s oceans by 2030.

Last month, a crucial milestone was reached as the 60th country signed the Treaty into law meaning the Treaty will enter into force early next year. But in order for the UK to have a seat at the table for the very first Oceans COP, it must pass the Treaty Bill as soon as possible. 

The clock is ticking so we need to keep the pressure on.
