Andy Burnham has apologised for Labour's response to Israel's actions in Gaza, and his government recently announced sanctions on illegal Israeli settlements. This is a positive first step - but the UK is still fuelling the genocide by selling arms to Israel.

We need to make these sanctions the beginning of a shift in approach and make sure this apology isn’t hollow. The new Prime Minister has clearly recognised that people across the country want no role in genocide - we need to make sure we keep the momentum up.
