Sungai Putri forest is home to one of the largest populations of orangutans in the world and one of their last strongholds.
For the last 30 years, companies in Indonesia have destroyed their homes, ransacked forests for paper and timber, and turned beautiful ecosystems into an ocean of palm oil.
Now, Sungai Putri faces the same fate. But local people are standing up and demanding their government declare it a protected forest.
If enough of us join people in Indonesia calling for action, the government will have to take notice.
Add your name and protect Sungai Putri before it’s too late.
