The climate emergency is causing more frequent fires and floods, destroying ecosystems and wreaking havoc on people’s lives. By burning fossil fuels like oil and gas, companies like BP have got us into this mess - and they have plans that will make this crisis even worse.

BP already have more fossil fuels on their books than we can afford to burn if we’re to avoid total climate breakdown. But unbelievably, they’re planning to spend $71 billion digging up new oil and gas on top of that over the next ten years. 

BP need to stop pushing the climate to breaking point. To do that they must immediately stop digging for new oil and gas and then stop being an oil company altogether!

Thousands of people are commenting on BP’s Facebook page urging them to switch to 100% renewable - or shut down. Comment on BP’s Facebook post and help ramp up the pressure. ​
