Tesco’s Burning Secret

Tesco is the UK’s worst supermarket for forest destruction. They are fuelling fires in forests across Brazil and deliberately misleading the public by claiming that they're on course to hit their zero deforestation targets. The truth is, they have little idea where their soya comes from, and are selling industrial meat on a scale that can’t be sustained without deforestation.

Tesco customers have the power to demand change. Can you help pile on the pressure to make sure they stop doing business with forest-destroying companies?

Stop buying meat from forest destroyers, and stop putting our climate at risk. #TescosBurningSecret https://t.co/jZpuqjk9ik

Forest fires in Brazil are linked to @Tesco’s meat supplier. Time to put wildlife, people and our climate ahead of profit.

Stop buying meat from forest destroyers. #TescosBurningSecret https://t.co/jZpuqjk9ik

As the largest supermarket in the UK, @Tesco you are in a position to make a positive impact on our climate.

Stop buying meat from forest destroyers and stop fuelling forest fires. #TescosBurningSecret https://t.co/jZpuqjk9ik

Every little helps but @Tesco is doing nothing to stop forest fires in Brazil. Enough ‘targets’ and PR.

Stop buying meat from forest destroyers and stop fuelling forest fires - now! #TescosBurningSecret https://t.co/jZpuqjk9ik

Vague targets and PR are nice, but if @Tesco really wanted to help tackle climate change, they’d stop buying meat from notorious forest destroyers.

Every little helps, so do *something*. #TescosBurningSecret https://t.co/jZpuqjk9ik
